Adults 19 and older are invited to join us for Adult Bad Art, where we explore various mediums, techniques, and supplies. We aim not to create “bad art” but to have fun while learning something new. You may even uncover a hidden talent or create a masterpiece in the process!

Taking place at the Fort Nelson Lamplighters, the Celebrate a Life Event is a gathering for individuals and families who are experiencing the holidays following the loss of a loved one, as an opportunity to reflect and remember.  This free event features poems and words of comfort with songs on piano to reflect by.  Memorial ornaments are available by donation to hang in remembrance, and light refreshments provided to follow.

Join us monthly in the library to explore culinary arts. We select a theme, peruse various cookbooks, and prepare one or two dishes together to share.

All necessary supplies will be provided; don’t forget to bring your apron!

Little Dimmers is a program designed for children and their accompanying adults to enjoy the library in a calm and quiet environment during closed hours. It provides a less stimulating setting for reading, playing quietly, and connecting with other caregivers.

Please join us at Lamplighters for an opportunity to work on your knitting, crocheting, or other crafts while enjoying the company of other crafters. All welcome.

You are invited to join one of our two Dungeons & Dragons groups, where you’ll be transported into a world of magic, mystery, and adventure led by our skilled Dungeon Master. Prepare to uncover hidden treasures, solve puzzles, and confront challenges that will determine your destiny. Don’t miss out on the ultimate Dungeons & Dragons experience. Each group will meet on alternating Thursdays.

A snack and drink will be provided at each session!

Meet weekly with fellow enthusiasts, share projects, and socialize while enjoying complimentary tea and coffee—feel free to bring a treat to share! Make items for personal use or contribute to those in need by making socks, gloves, scarves, or toques—a donation bin will be handy, along with donated materials.

Meetings are held in the meeting room, and drop-ins are welcome.
